Ibu Soed, full name Saridjah Niung Bintang Soedibio, born in Sukabumi, West Java, March 26, 1908, a creator of the legendary children's songs. He created 200 more children's songs. Music figures three times (the Netherlands, Japan, Indonesia), was first sounded on the radio proclaiming Nirom Jakarta in 1927.

Ibu Soed Saridjah original name, the youngest of twelve brothers, Mohamad Niung daughters, a bloody Bugis sailors who later settled in Sukabumi, West Java became the guardian of Prof. Dr. Mr. J.F. Kramer, an Indo-Dutch - beribukan aristocratic Javanese descent. Prof. Dr. Mr. J.F. Kramer, a retired vice president Hoogerechtshof (District Attorney) in Jakarta, who had settled in Sukabumi raised Saridjah as a child.
Musical talent honed since childhood by his adoptive father who nurtured Prof. Dr. Mr. J.F. Kramer. Under the care of the adoptive father, Saridjah get sound art education, art and music learning fiddle.


After completing his education in Kweekschool, Bandung, Saridjah Petojo teaching at HIS HIS, HIS Jalan Kartini, and HIS Arjuna (1925-1941). Here he began to teach children to sing. He was concerned to see Indonesian children who seem less happy. Then he thought to please the children by singing.
He also thinks children should be able to sing in Indonesia was Indonesian. It would be more fun than having to teach the songs speak Dutch to Indonesian students. So, he began creating songs for the children of Indonesia.

In addition to creating a rhythmic song cheerful child, among others Hai Becak, Kutilang, Kupu-kupu, and Bila Aku Besar, also cheerful patriotic songs like Tanah Airku and Berkibarlah Benderaku.

She married Soedibio Star, has three daughters. Since marrying his name better known as Ibu Soed. Her husband died in 1954 in a BOAC aircraft accidents in Singapore.
